At the moment iCar is being developed with the help of MCC ModelCarParts making use of the MCC system. This system uses a so called UCCI as a command station for cars.
It is possible to combine cars and trains with iTrain by using the UCCI as a second command station next to a normal command station for trains. In case you use the Dinamo system you can control both trains and cars with one RMU.
iCar has been designed to support other car systems, like DC-Car and OpenCar, by supporting all DCC command stations available in iTrain to control cars as well.
